I've never been a huge fan of Access, although I do HAVE to work it with on occasion.
After a long glorious run of not having to work with any version of Access, I had to work with Access 2003 the other day.
The client used Access to connect to a SQL Server back end and I needed update several queries, adding some tables in the statement.
What made me pull out my hair was the old 'Access requires parenthesis for joins issue.' It's not the first time I've run into it and Access is less than helpful with it's error messages for us SQL guys.
I'm know I'm not alone in wishing I could turn this off.....
